My employer laid me off. I found work with another company, double the commute. I considered the job temporary until my original employer was hiring again. While working at this new job I got to know a young woman working there. We shared stories about how we came to be working where we were. While working at this temporary job I visited a chiropractor. I was a little early one visit and ended up having a nice chat with the chiropractor’s daughter. Synchronistically the chiropractor’s daughter was planning to follow a very similar career path to the young woman at work. I suggested she talk to the young woman I met at work. I passed along the chiropractor’s daughter’s contact information to the young woman at work. The two young women connected and . . . . . then my original employer called to re-hire me. It was like I was put in that position just to connect those two people.
